During the third quarter of 2024, the top beauty retail applications on the Android platform in the United States demonstrated diverse performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps showcased varying patterns in terms of weekly downloads and active user engagement.

Bath & Body Works saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, beginning at around 21K in early July and peaking at approximately 66K by mid-August. After this peak, downloads gradually declined, stabilizing at around 36K by the end of September. The app's active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at 260K and reaching a peak of 328K in August before settling at 284K toward the quarter's end.

Sephora: Buy Makeup & Skincare experienced a surge in weekly downloads, beginning at 15K and hitting a high of 45K in mid-August. The numbers then tapered off, ending the quarter at about 16K. The active user base also saw growth, beginning at 214K and peaking at 296K before decreasing slightly to 235K by the end of September.

Ulta Beauty: Makeup & Skincare maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, fluctuating between 6K and 8K. The active user count showed minor variations, starting at 149K and ending at 133K, indicating a gradual decline over the quarter.
